The Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA)

The RQIA is the independent body responsible for monitoring and inspecting the availability and quality of health and social care services in Northern Ireland. Their role is to ensure that health and social care services are accessible, well managed and meet the required standards.

Every home will receive a minimum of two unannounced inspections a year. Categories inspected are - care, medications, finances and estates. All inspection reports are available on the RQIA website.

At Ard Cuan we are very proud of the high standard of care we provide and this is evident in the consistantly high scores we acheive on our inspection reports.
